The War on Drugs is a repressive campaign of prohibition[1][2] of drugs being undertaken by the United States government which includes outlawing the production, sell, possession and use of drugs, seizure of drugs[1] and foreign military aid, sometimes to governments which has ties with right-wing paramilitary groups responsible for the murder, kidnapping and mass slaughter of citizens.[3] Every week the police seizes homes, cars, bank accounts and businesses from 2,000 innocent people without trial.[1]
