Protecting against vandalism (including spam)
Hey TMA, the typical way to protect against vandalism is to revert to a previous version of the article. You do this by going to the "history" list, then selecting the version you want to revert to, and editing that version. This previous version will overwrite the vandalized verison. Administrators can do this even quicker.
You seem to be getting into the Wiki. If so, I suggest checking out the Wikipedia tutorial.

- I'm trying to keep a balance here. IMHO, there are many other things that need to be done before Wiki-ing, but if I'm bored, I'll help out. For example, I was Jonesing towards helping someone run in the special election in my district in April, but apparently we're not running anyone. This might actually be a good thing. Running nobody is better than trying to win with an unqualified candidate.
