I am Thane Eichenauer <auto80110@myprivacy.ca>, a man from Tempe, Arizona with an interest in Ayn Rand's books and the society that has been inspired by her books. You may browse my bookmarks at del.icio.us or at backflip.com. My birth name was Vahid Thane Lee Eichenauer. My brother's birth name was Eric Quddus Eichenauer. My father's name is John Carl Eichenauer III. My grandfather's name was John Carl Eichenauer II. My great-grandfather's name was John Carl Eichenauer. I imagine I came very close to being John Carl Eichenauer IV. My mother's birth name was Mary.

I used to post small bits of commentary at http://idic.pitas.com but have recently decided the ease of posting offered by blogger wins out so look for me there (http://jonkyl.blogspot.com).

I am a sometimes supporter of Christine Smith, George Phillies, Steve Kubby,Jim Burns (someone told me that the preceding four people are campaigning for the office of President of the United States) and the Ron Paul rEVOLution.

Check out the results of a googlebattle between Ron Paul and Rudy Giuliani.

I enjoy meetings of Arizona Objectivists and listening to Penn Radio (via the internet).

I am currently reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (book 2) by J.K. Rowling so that I can consider reading and/or purchasing Harry Potter and Philosophy : If Aristotle Ran Hogwarts edited by Shawn Klein whose efforts in addition to Jackie Hazelton's work greatly contribute to the quality of their meetings.

One very admirable group is Law Enforcement Against Prohibition

And if ever I get bummed out thinking too much about government oppression I will visit the libertarian entry on uncyclopedia and sing the Libertarian Song.

I have seen V for Vendetta five times (once at the IMAX) in the theaters and found each viewing to be insightfull.

Favorite quote: "Government is the problem. Freedom is the solution."
