As several people have pointed out on the DFC's yahoogroup, the DFC does not promote any particular philosophy of land-onwership, Geolibertarian or otherwise. The DFC, generally speaking, believes that because land sites are unproduced and increases in site value are unearned, land is subject to fundamentally different laws from other forms of property. Generally speaking, therefore, the DFC favors treating land differently than labor and capital for purposes of taxation. These general guidelines do not necessarily equate to Georgism, although a majority of DFC members probably belong to some philosophical tradition that traces itself back to Henry George.
