Talk:Black Libertarians

Interesting, but how do we integrate this into the structure of the wiki? What's the point? Should we have a "Libertarian women" page also? Are we trying to show that libertarianism crosses ethnic/cultural/identity groups? Are we saying that these people know how to apply libertarian ideals to the problems faced by certain groups in American society? Adam 15:19, 11 April 2007 (PDT)

Good question. I am somewhat uncomfortable with any list of libertarians unless there is a documented source, for example, the Republican Liberty Caucus says that John Doe is a libertarian. Otherwise it is endless argument. Do we count only 100/100 libertarians? Which version of the survey do we use, who witnessed the test, etc. Paul Studier 19:26, 11 April 2007 (PDT)

I actually brought this up because Camile Pagilia (columnist at Salon.com) referred to herself as a libertarian a couple of times in her most recent column[1]. I was going to note that here on the wiki, but wasn't sure how to handle it, and all I could find was this list. Adam 05:10, 12 April 2007 (PDT)
Well, she could be listed as "self described", with a reference to where she says this. Paul Studier 11:47, 12 April 2007 (PDT)
