From Libertarian Wiki
Springfield is the largest city in Western Massachusetts. Voter cynicism is high as a fiscal crisis continues to weigh on the city. This anti-establishment sentiment could provide opportunities for Libertarians who can successfully portray themselves as a viable outsider or "independent" option.
