MEMBER CATEGORIES (all signed membership pledge)

SUB - Subscribing Member ($25 or more annual donor)

SUS - Sustaining Member ($100 or more annual donor; OR $10/mo pledger)

SPO - Sponsor Member ($250 or more annual donor; OR $25/mo pledgers)

PAT - Patron Member ($500 or more annual donor; OR $50/mo pledgers)

ALM - Associate Life Member (an old $250 life category LPHQ offered up to about 1990)

BLM - Benefactor Life Member ($1000 or more annual donor; OR $100/mo pledgers)


SUBSCRIBER CATEGORIES (did not sign membership pledge)

LPN - LP News subscriber (Donated $25 or more within a calendar year)


INQUIRY CATEGORIES

NON - Non-member


DEFUNCT CATEGORIES

INS - Instant member (signed pledge, but didn't pay $25). Instant members are basically the same as regular inquiries; the LNC ceased recognizing them independently of inquiries in the early nineties. Technically the category still exists, but LPHQ no longer supports it. A person who signs the pledge and submits it to LPHQ without any donation is still supposed to be recorded as having signed the pledge; but as of May 2005 it is not known wther LPHQ is still recording this data or is simply entering such records as non-signed inquiries.
