Mayor of Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is on the verge of bankruptcy, and Mayor Murphy will not seek re-election. The Democratic Primary is generally considered the "real" election. No Republican has announced his intention to run. Mark Rauterkus has suggested that he will run for mayor as an independent if he is not elected to the state senate as a Libertarian.
