Susan Hogarth.

Susan Hogarth is a former candidate for North Carolina House of Representatives and the founder of LPRadicals, a caucus of the Libertarian Party of the United States that she began in response to calls to eliminate the Party's platform, abolish or weaken the party's membership pledge, and abolish dues. She is also past chair of the Wake County chapter of the Libertarian Party of North Carolina. She believes that the best social safety net is "the vast and amazing web of transactions and interdependencies of the marketplace, where even the weakest and least skilled have something of value to contribute." She has said in the past that the Libertarian Party should stop acting like the dissident wing of the Republican Party and instead promote its own positive message. (more...)

Michael Badnarik is a software engineer, political figure, and former talk show host. He was the Libertarian Party nominee for President of the United States in the 2004 elections, and placed fourth in the race, behind independent candidate Ralph Nader. Two years later he ran as a Libertarian Party candidate in the United States House of Representatives elections in Texas, 2006 for Texas's 10th congressional district seat near Austin, Texas. Otto Guevara Guth

Otto Guevara Guth is a politician in Costa Rica and founder of the Partido Movimiento Libertario (Libertarian Movement Party). He served in the Costa Rican legislature from 1998-2006. Guevara is currently the president of the Libertarian Movement Party and received 20.831% of the vote when he ran for president. Failing to see any representation for his values in Costa Rica’s traditional parties, Guevara founded the Movimiento Libertario in 1994 to challenge the conventional orthodoxy of Costa Rican politics which he saw as lurching towards greater corruption and less respect for the individual rights of his people. He believes that the principles of moderate intervention of the State and more economical freedom as the best way to improve the lives of the Costa Rican people. (more...)

Less Antman reading one of his favorite books, Anarchy and the Law.

Less Antman is a radical libertarian, Certified Public Accountant, personal financial planner and owner of the Simply Rich website as well as Anarchy Without Bombs. He was impressed as a youngster with the philosopher Lao Tzu who, in the Taoist classic Tao Te Ching, stated that the ideal ruler for China would be one who sat quietly doing absolutely nothing. He joined the Libertarian Party in 1978 and, over the next 5 years, was an activist, financial contributor, campaign brochure writer, publisher of the state newsletter Caliber, speech writer, and 2-time candidate. His campaign in 1982 for state treasurer received 167,207 votes, the most in a partisan race by any Libertarian candidate in the nation, and earned the LP permanent ballot status in California. In 1983, he won the Karl Bray Award for Libertarian Activism. He continues to package libertarian ideas in unselfish and positive terms, pointing out how the elimination of government would actually help the poor. (more...)
