Free-market.net

Jump to: navigation, search

Free-market.net was a popular libertarian internet portal originally founded in 1995 by Chris Whitten as Free-market.com. In 1997 it was incorporated as the Henry Hazlitt Foundation and the Free-market.net name was adopted. The economic recession of 2002 led to a downturn in donations and the Henry Hazlitt Foundation's demise; however, several groups originally started under the auspices of Free-market.net were spun off at that time and remain active today including Bureaucrash and Ifeminists.
