This is the beginning of a list of elected libertarians. When adding to this list please indicate whether the person is a member and/or registered libertarian, endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus or other evidence that the person is libertarian.

  • John Briscoe, Ocean View School District Governing Board Member, Full Term. Although John Briscoe is a libertarian, he recently re-registered as a Republican. He used to be a dues paying member of the LPC and LPOC but is no longer a party member according to LPC bylaws because of his registration.

FSP member Joel Winters won election to the New Hampshire state house as a Democrat. [3]

[edit] Republican Liberty Caucus

DJ Bettencourt was reelected to the NH House of Representatives, along with 6 other libertarian Republicans endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus. New Hampshire has the largest number of libertarian Republicans serving in a State Legislature in the United States. Most are affiliated with the "New Hampshire Alliance" a coalition of conservatives and libertarians which is Chaired by Bettencourt.
