Criteria
From Libertarian Wiki
The libertarian nature of a charity may be judged based on the following criteria. Logos for each criteria would be helpful as a way of quickly identifying the value of a particular charity.
- Dignity: Promotes the dignity of all involved. Does not create a dependent class of persons.
- Progress: Produces long-term solutions to problems, rather than creating a condition where constant aid will be needed to maintain the status quo.
- Political independence: Does not promote an anti-libertarian political agenda, including lobbying for taxpayer support. Is not overly reliant on state support.
- Cultural awareness: Promote libertarian values in our culture.
- Technology: Develops tools that may be used to resist tyranny.
